Product Description:

The Aluminum Strip 1050, with a thickness of 0.5mm and a width of 1100mm, is a high-purity aluminum alloy (99.5% minimum aluminum) in the O-temper (soft state), designed for transformer winding in dry-type and oil-immersed transformers. Composed primarily of aluminum with trace amounts of iron (≤0.4%) and silicon (≤0.25%), it offers high electrical conductivity (≥60% IACS), excellent thermal conductivity, and good formability (elongation ~15-30%). Its smooth, burr-free surface ensures precise winding, while its lightweight nature (density ~2.70 g/cm³) reduces transformer weight. The alloy’s corrosion resistance and recyclability make it a cost-effective, sustainable alternative to copper, widely used in transformer manufacturing.
